ELECTION NIGHT GATHERING

After helping get out the vote for First Selectperson Christine Vitale in the special election on Tuesday, February 3, come join us at Boca Grille & Raw Bar (2425 Morehouse Hwy - at the H. Smith Richardson Golf Course) starting at 7:30 for our Election Night Gathering. We will learn the election results as they come in and celebrate a hard-fought campaign. Light nibbles provided and there will be a cash bar.

 

[NOTE: for anyone looking for more substantial fare than the complimentary light nibbles, food may also be purchased off of Boca’s full regular menu that evening.]

2025 John J. Sullivan Award Dinner

On September 28, Fairfield Democrats honored RTM member Karen Wackerman at the DTC’s John J. Sullivan Award Dinner in the beautifully renovated Fairchild Room at Vazzy’s 19th Hole. DTC chairman Steven Sheinberg emceed the motivational event, which featured special guest speakers Connecticut State Treasurer Erick Russell, First Selectman Christine Vitale, Selectman Marcy Spolyar, RTM majority leader Liz Zezima, State Representatives Cristin McCarthy Vahey, Jennifer Leeper, and Sarah Keitt, and more.  It was an inspirational evening spent in celebration and recognition of service to the community. 

"No Kings Day" National Day of Action

Fairfield Democrats were proud to join millions of peaceful protesters here in Connecticut and around the country for the June 14 "No Kings Day" national day of action. Democrats are standing strong in the fight against the corrupt, authoritarian takeover of our country by Trump and his allies.

Century Club Brunch 2025

On Sunday, April 6, at the 2025 Century Club Brunch, Fairfield Democrats honored State Representative Sarah Keitt and DTC Corresponding Secretary Erin Lopez for their outstanding contributions to our Party and our community. It was our honor to be joined by and hear from a host of esteemed Democratic leaders including: U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, U.S. Congressman Jim Himes, Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz, Attorney General William Tong, and Treasurer Erick Russell. Proclamations were presented by Fairfield First Selectman Bill Gerber and by State Representatives Cristin McCarthy Vahey and Jennifer Leeper. Numerous other local elected officials and community leaders were also in attendance. We are grateful to our outstanding emcee, DTC Chairman, Steven Sheinberg who, along with the fundraising committee, coordinated another very special and successful event filled filled with great camaraderie, recognition of outstanding service, and inspiring speeches that reminded us all what’s at stake in our country.
