Candidate for
Board of Finance
Bob Ellwanger

I’m a seasoned financial services professional and long-time Fairfield resident with a decade of service to the community. I know how thoughtful, transparent financial planning can make all the difference – and I’ll bring that to the Board: smart decisions over short-term fixes. Fairfield has a proud tradition of excellent schools, strong neighborhoods, and community pride. But we face rising costs, aging infrastructure, and the challenge of balancing services with affordability for young families and seniors.
I stand for: Transparency in spending taxpayer dollars. Accountability in evaluating town projects and debt. Efficiency in supporting schools, public safety, and infrastructure without unnecessary burdens on residents. If elected, I’ll ask hard questions, demand clear answers, and ensure every dollar is spent with purpose. This is your town—your voice belongs at the table. Together, let’s keep Fairfield strong, sustainable, and affordable.
