CONNECT WITH ME ON:

MY PLATFORM:

I support the sustainable, smart and strategic growth of our Commercial Grand List, which is critical to reducing our town’s Mill Rate

I'm committed to looking at other innovative ways in which we can reduce our Mill Rate

As the mother to three children (including one who relies on the services provided by Special Education) in the Fairfield Public School System,  I value the importance of a fair and appropriate education in a cleanand safe environment for all our students

I'd like to work collaboratively with the Board of Education to make civic engagement and community service a requirement for all students, beginning at the elementary school level

I'm committed to increasing our use of Sustainable Energy sources that lower our costs, are friendly to our environment, and will enhance the value of our neighborhood

I want to energize Fairfield's relationship with the Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County in order to identify empty walls and turn them into blank canvases, like at the downtown Fairfield train station.

I’d like to bridge conversations between the cultural institutions in town to bring more robust arts programming to the town like multidisciplinary salons that offer residents exposure to new ideas, powerful questions, and learning outside of the confines of a classroom setting to inspire, create community and provide a better understanding of one another

I want to ensure our beloved Public Libraries and the Pequot Library and the  Bigelow Senior Center (and other important pillars of our community) thrive and remain integral to the value of our town

I want to ensure our senior most citizens have a voice and can stay in their homes and remain active, vital participants in the community

I WILL PUT PEOPLE OVER POLITICS AND WILL
CONSIDER GOOD IDEAS OVER PARTISAN AGENDAS

MY VISION:

Getting off the sidelines and into the political arena has given me a chance to solve problems and to help people; I’d like to expand my chances to do so.  Building community is a main driver of my campaign for Select(wo)man.  Fairfield is a special place to call home; it’s a safe, welcoming, family-friendly community – one that values excellent schools, is committed to being attractive to small business owners, and is dedicated to staying affordable and attractive to our seniors.

We’re a hub for arts and culture, with great restaurants and unique shops. Sustainability and protecting our natural environment is a priority for me, especially as it pertains to the smart and strategic growth of the town. I value open spaces; our parks, beaches, the award winning golf course and the marina. The recreational opportunities are boundless.

I am committed to helping strengthen our solid financial foundation, which allows the delivery of the high quality services necessary for the successful functioning of our town. I’m particularly inspired by the value of those things that make up the fabric of our community, in between the line items on our budget.
